What it casts
The shadow, not the fixture
Brella's shadow play happens on the fixture itself: each triangular facet meets the light at a different angle, so the dome grades from bright to dark plane by plane, and the pattern reshuffles as you move around the room. Below, it lays down a clean, generous pool of warm light — made for a table — while the walls receive a soft, even gradient rather than a cast pattern. It is the calm one in the collection: sculpted glow rather than projected drama.

Brella explores the relationship between a smooth curve and the flat facets used to describe it. Its umbrella-inspired silhouette becomes a geometric composition through digital craft, with the faceting itself serving as the ornament.

Brella takes the soft curve of an umbrella and rebuilds it from flat triangular facets. Its solid dome and gently curled rim create a sculptural silhouette, with each plane catching the light at a different angle. The light is directed downward, making Brella a natural choice above a table, reading chair or kitchen island. Choose brushed gold, hammered black, matte white or brushed copper, paired with a white or black fabric-wrapped cord and a black or white metal canopy.
